Description ACTIVITES
Day I: Arrive at Paro international Airport Drive to Thimphu
Welcome to Bhutan, touching down at Paro International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide at the arrival lounge. Today, we will take it easy to acclimatize to the altitude.
Drive to Thimphu, check in to the hotel and lunch will be served. Afternoon sightseeing in and around Thimphu.
Kuensel Phodrang situated south of thimphu parched on a hill top with its 169 feet bronze statue of Buddha Dordenma , Vajra Throne Buddha symbolising indestructibility will be completed soon. The Buddha statue itself is competed awaiting paintings, but visitors can drive up to the Buddha point and view the tallest statue of Lord Buddha. The view of Thimphu valley from the Buddha point is spectacular and beautiful, especially at night.
Visit the centennial Farmer’s Market to experience the bustling market place during the weekends. Farmers from all over the country bring their produce here to sell for a good price.
Visit the School of 13 Traditional Arts and Crafts of Bhutan knows locally as Zorig chhusum. See the traditional painting, carving, wood crafts and other traditional crafts.

Day II: Thimphu Day Tour
Visit Trashichhoedzong, memorial chorten, traditional medicine, zoo, or take a day hike to Phajoding monastery or tango chari monastery among other places. Evening stroll through the neatly tangled with traditional town of thimphu.

Day III: Thimphu to Paro
Drive to paro and visit national museum, paro dzong, dungtse lhaknage and village house around paro valley. evening visit the town of paro.

Day IV: Paro day Hike Take a day hike to Taktsan monastery. The monastery is a prominent Himalayan Buddhist sacred site on a cliff in Paro Valley. Legends has it that Guru Rinpochhe flew to Taktsang on the back of a Tigress and meditated in the caves. Guru Rinpochhe performed meditation and emerged in eight manifestations of Guru.

DAY V Paro to airport for departure Depending upon your flight time, departure to Airport. At least 2 hour before boarding time, you have to reach the airport. Hotel to Paro International Airport is 15 min drive.
