Rock Climbing

Rock climbing near Kathmandu has grown significantly in recent years, with several excellent crags developed within just 30–45 minutes of the city. Nagarjun, Hattiban, and Shivapuri offer well-bolted sport routes ranging from beginner-friendly slabs to challenging overhangs, while the ancient stone walls of the Kathmandu Valley's older buildings provide unique urban climbing experiences.

For multi-pitch traditional climbing, the rock walls above Rishi Khola and around Trisuli offer more serious alpine rock routes. A.N.T. All sessions include a safety briefing, harness fitting, and progressive skill development appropriate for your experience level.
